High Pressure Water Jetting Components
Pump
Required to compress and pump the high pressure water stream down the hose, lance and finally out of the nozzle. The pump needs to be able to operate at 25,000 psi all day everyday.
Engine
The engine connects to and drives the water jetting pump. Needless to say it has to be very powerful and can be either diesel, petrol or electric. We use diesel.
Hose
A high pressure jetting hose has the very simple job of connecting the pump to the nozzle and allowing water to flow between them. However it has to be capable of safely passing through water under 2 and a half times the maximum working pressure you are working at.
Hose Reel
The hose reel and hose reel drum are generally constructed from 1/4" diameter steel which easily allows the hose to safely expand and contract. Supported by a rigid steel double 'A' frame that can be safely mounted in the back of a commercial van.
Lance
A jetting lance is usually required to connect the hose to the nozzle but not essential as their are individual nozzels available that attach directly to the pipe which you will require to get right in to your drains.
Nozzle
A hardened stainless steel stop end with precision machined flow paths which can turn the water through 180 degrees as well as straight out of the center precision opening. its exit points which can be just 1 center or several center and several rear streams.
Water Tank
The water tank capacity determines the amount of time the system can jet for. Although it has no effect on the jetting pressure you should aim for a 300 gallon tank as a maximum if your van only has one axle.
Really Clean
A good drain jetting system will effortlessly clean away all build up in your drains due to the raw power it delivers to the jetting nozzle and beyond. The super quick water jet not only removes all traces of build up it also quickly breaks up solids and forces any build up safely and completely along the drains.
